THERAPY

& COUNSELLING

Mini Minds Psychology provides evidence based intervention to support children, adolescents and families with a range of behavioural, social, developmental and emotional difficulties. We are dedicated to the wellbeing of our clients, providing a warm and caring environment, where children and families are able to express their concerns freely.

Therapy can be offered on a one-to-one basis or with multiple family members. A developmental history is gathered initially so the psychologist can tailor the intervention to the clients unique situation. The psychologist uses a range of different therapies and techniques to promote a sense of hope, enabling the client to develop greater self-awareness, resilience and confidence.

Fees for counselling consultations are guided by the recommendations outlined by the AAPI (The Australian Association of Psychologists). The current recommended fee (from July 2024) for a consultation of 50-60 min is $315. At Mini Minds we offer a reduced maximum fee of $290 for a Clinical Psychologist. This fee may be reduced depending on the title and experience of the practitioner. (Please note, these fee's will adjust each year depending on recommended rates)
